Sri Lankan soldier arrested with cannabis

<p>A Sri Lankan soldier was arrested with cannabis in Vavuniya on Friday morning according to Vavuniya police.</p> <p>The soldier was arrested when police stopped and searched a Jaffna to Colombo-bound bus at Nochchimoddai bridge in Vavuniya.</p> <p>He was allegedly in possession of 200 grammes of cannabis, and was taken into custody to be produced before the Vavuniya magistrates court pending further investigation.</p> <p>Police refused to disclose the soldier’s camp or division details or any further details.</p>
