    The G8 summit will not be held in Russia this year, said the British Premier, David Cameron  during his visit to the Netherlands today.

    Urging Russia to respond to recent sanctions and change its course Cameron said,

    “We should be clear there’s not going to be a G8 summit in Russia”

  • Beirut hit by clashes over Syria

    Pro- and anti-Assad groups have clashed in Beirut, after a week of factional violence, which hit the coastal town of Tripoli, which left 25 dead.

    Tensions between supporters of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and those who support the Syrian rebels have exacerbated in recent months.

  • Venezuelan protesters killed by security forces
    Three Venezuelans were killed during protests against president Maduro today, after military troops clashed with protestors were demonstrating near a barricade.

    The protests, which were started by University students in February over the imprisonment of the opposition leader, have resulted in the deaths of 34 people.
