Families of the disappeared have been protesting in Maruthankerny, in Vadamaradchi East, for the twenty-fourth day.
The families demand information about the whereabouts of their missing loved ones.
Last month two journalists were harassed by Sri Lankan soldiers after reporting on the protest.
