The Ukraine’s parliament overwhelmingly voted to repeal the anti-protest laws, that sparked the recent unrest and protests in Ukraine.
Speaking after the law was repealed, the Fatherland Party leader, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, said,
The European Union and the United States, increased pressure on President Yanukovych this week to impose serious reforms that catered to key demands of protestors this week.

“We have repealed the laws against which the entire country rose up.”The law was passed after the Prime Minister, Mykola Azarov, resigned earlier in the day to create “an additional possibility for a political compromise to peacefully resolve the conflict.”
