Afghan President Hamid Karzai has warned that he will refuse to sign a long-term security agreement with the United States, if drone strikes continue in Afghanistan.
His latest statement comes as he accused the US of launching a strike from a “pilot-less aircraft” that killed a 2-year-old child. Karzai said,

“This attack shows that American forces are not respecting the life and safety of Afghan people’s houses”.
“For years our innocent people have become victims of the war under the name of terrorism, and they have had no safety in their homes.”He went on to add that if such “oppressions by foreign forces continue,” he will not sign a security agreement with the US, which has taken a year of negotiations. The deal would allow up to 15,000 foreign troops to remain in the country and assist the Afghan military.
