Addressing a public rally in Mullaitivu, Mahinda Rajapaksa outlined that the government had taken expeditious measures to develop the war-battered Northern Province over the last 4 years.
Highlighting the development of infrastructure in the Northern Province, Rajapaksa alleged that the Tamil National Alliance was misleading people by promising self-government and independence but not being in a position to uplift the people’s lives or provide basic facilities.
