Sri Lanka’s security forces have reportedly launched an investigation after the Tamil Eelam flag was raised in Jaffna on November 27th, as Tamils across the North-east paid tribute to fallen Tamil fighters on Maaveerar Naal.
The occupying police force in Valvettithurai said that posters with the “LTTE symbol” were found posted around the Udupiddy area on November 26th and they received information that the Tamil Eelam flag was raised on November 27th.
The posters were reportedly removed and efforts are currently underway to arrest those responsible.
