Members of the Northern Provincial Council on Tuesday commemorated the first anniversary of the death of the Tamil Nadu chief minister, J Jayalalithaa.
Members M K Shivajilingham and Ananthi Sasitharan garlanded a photograph of the late minister.
The NPC members donated bags to 50 school children in her memory.
