Sri Lankan soldiers at the Combat Training School (CTS) in Amparai, announced the opening of a new herbal garden inside the military headquarters on Saturday.
CTS Commandant Major General Shantha Dissanayake oversaw proceedings at the base, which saw herbs planted alongside English and Sinhala signs.
Troops from the ‘Leadership Development Course No 15’ also joined the planting ceremony.
