Christmas midnight mass was held at Pesalai Our Lady of Victory Church in Mannar.
A special Christmas service was also held at St Sebastian's Church in Mannar.
Jaffna
Hundreds gathered at St Mary's Church in Jaffna at midnight to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
