Gajishna Darshan, from Kokkuvil Hindu Primary School, won two bronze medals at the Asian Schools Chess Championship.
At just seven years old, Gajishna Darshan from Kokkuvil Hindu Primary School, Jaffna, won two bronze medals at the Asian Schools Chess Championship 2024 in Thailand.
Darshan’s outstanding performance secured her 6th place in Classical Chess and 9th place in Rapid Chess across Asia. She also achieved 1st place across the island in both categories.
