The United Nations peacekeeping operation in the Central African Republic will reach full deployment in the region by the 15th of September 2014, the UN Security Council heard today.

The announcement comes as a Red Cross worker was killed and at least 31 civilians injured by violence that erupted after residents of the PK-5 neighbourhood accused EU forces of killing a man on Tuesday.
