More than 1,000 Sri Lankan troops took part in a dengue cleanup program at schools across Kilinochchi and Vavuniya last month, declared an official military website

The program, reportedly “conducted under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi (SF-KLN)” saw soldiers from the 57, 65 and 66 Divisions deployed at schools across the district.

Meanwhile, troops from the 61 Division, 611, 612 and 613 Brigades took part in a similar operation in Vavuniya, covering at least 41 schools in the area.
