ICC adjourns Ruto's trial

Judges at the International Criminal Court have adjourned William Ruto’s crimes against humanity trial for a week in order to allow the deputy president to return to Kenya to help deal with the Kenyan hostage crisis.

The Presiding Judge, Chile Eboe-Osuji, expressed the court’s “deepest sympathy to the victims and their families and friends and all of Kenya in this most difficult time.”
