A momument dedicated to the memory of those killed in the Armenian genocide was unveiled in Quebec on Sunday, the first monument of its kind in Canada, reported Asbarez.
The monument, entitled "Crucifixion, Resurrection, Rebirth", was unveiled as members of the Canadian-Armenian community in Quebec gathered in remembrance.
Present at the event was Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganian who went to call upon the international community to formally recognise the genocide.
