Sinhala nationalists to protest against Eastern Chief Minister remarks on military

A protest against the Eastern Chief Minister Mr Nazeer Ahmed has been organised Sinhala nationalist organisation ‘Sinha Le.’

The protest was organised by the group in response to the Chief Minister telling the military to leave a community event held in Sampur.

The ‘Sinha Le’ protest flyer read,

“Keep hands off the security forces. Massive protest against the idiotic Chief Minister for insulting the security forces who unconditionally protect our nation.”

The leaflet was signed by “Patriotic citizens of the East with the Sinhala National Force (Sinha Le).”

The protest due to be held in Trincomalee on 28th May 2pm.
