NPC members call for Tamil governor to be appointed in Vavuniya district

Northern Provincial Council members of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) called on Sri Lnaka to appoint a Tamil speaking Government Agent (GA) in Vavuniya.
 
The Health Minister of the Northern Province, Dr P Sathiyalaingam said that the TNA had raised the issue with Prime Minister Ranil WIckremesinghe reports Colombo Gazette.

Criticising the new government’s failure to appoint a Tamil GA Mr Sathiyalaingam said the Tamils expected reforms from the government and have failed to see progress on even simple issues.
